I don't know too much about how the installer is assigning and choosing faces from the folder but something isn't right.
 
I just had a quick look at the Japan and China U21 squads and most of the players were Caucasian!
example from the XML: <record from="Caucasian/SCO220" to="graphics/pictures/person/r-2002162868/portrait"/>
 
Korea seemed ok though.
 
Similarly I was looking at Bulgaria and some of the Yugo countries and most of their youth intake had African faces.

Players 25 or younger not showing on retirement list

Hello, i was following a player to sing him in, 25 years old, and suddenly he dissapeared, i could not find him on my first season in. He had no contract. So i thought maybe he retired, i am playing really low division. I took a look at retirement list and found out that no players 25 or younger showed there. All players under 26 years old appear blank, so thats the reason the search function cannot find them.
 
I took a look at another game i am playing, completly different game, and the same issue is there. Tonight i simulated to the future and every year is the same, no players under 26 show up there, only blank rows.
 
 
I activated the debug mode but the log file does not show anything when i try to open one of this empty rows.
 
If you need anything i am happy to make some tests.
 
Something tells me the problem is in the game, not fmrte, cause if i search in game for someone who is retiring 26 or older, he appear on the search function, but not if he is younger. 
 
 
I add this game with a not massive database that shows the problem. One more thing i have to add, i saw this guy who has the same problem and opened a bug report, i am using several database updates, they are not the same as his. I am using daveincid realism and others. I have to try with no patches and see what happens.

The Item field in the player's career plan is not changing.

Even when trying to modify the career plan of a player who already has one, the value of the Item field does not change. Whether modifying an existing career plan or creating a new one, when selecting one of the Item Types—Club, Continent, Nation, or Competition—and inputting a value in the corresponding Club, Continent, Nation, or Competition field, the Item field in the Career Plans remains blank.
 
1. Select a player from FMRTE24.
2. Go to the Career Plans tab.
3. Modify career plan in options.
4. The Item field is not modified.
 
For example, even when trying to change the value of "England" to "Saudi Arabia" in Thomas Müller's career plan, the Item field changes to blank.

Remove player position - regen only

Sometimes when i remove position from player, it keeps coming back after a few in game days.
For example, i have a CB who has 16 in AMR position, i changed his AMR to 1, and it keeps coming back to 16.
This only affects regen players. I tried putting different values than 1 (5-10), didn't work. I also tried to remove player from individual training - didn't work either.

Freezer does not work like it should

The problem I am having is that the freezer option is not working like it did in FMRTE 23. Back then I could select which attributes to freeze and which can increase.
 
The attributes just freeze, no changes at all.
They neither increase nor decrease. It doesn't matter if I freeze CA and allow it to increase, or if I don't select it in the freezer settings (along with the attributes that I want to increase)
I freeze all the attributes and allow them to increase (except the bad ones). 
As you can see on the screenshot my players aren't developing at all, his determination dropped 1 point from 18 to 17, even with professional set to 127 - which should increase abilities rapidly.
My only comparison to this is how well this worked in FMRTE 23, but not at all in 24.
Is there some bug that makes the "attributes that can increase" not work properly? Am I doing anything wrong?

Kits and colours

Hi Friends
 
Kits and Colours ---> GK Kits don't work with the Piacenza (id 1159) club (i've traied different type of colour and kits).
 
Only the flou yellow outfit remains in the game. Any other club (es. Juve, inter, Como, Roma) it's OK.

Unable to add new contract clauses if none present

As another person reported for FMRTE 24:
 
"Not able to add a new clause if there are none already present.
Also unable to add in new competition bonsuses"
 
This also applies to FM23. It happens to Bonuses, Clauses and Competition Bonuses.
Is it possible for it to still get fixed? I'm still running FM23 and I need to add some clauses on my game.

Searching for a player through asking price does not work

Every time I try to filter a player search with the asking price it doesn't work. It just ignores it and gives players from all asking prices, without any price filter to it. I don't know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong, but in past editions of FMRTE this search used to work.

all staff disappeared

Went to remove a manager by setting his contract end date to the next day, but reversed the decision before 10am that day. Later I check the club's staff and players, and now most of the players and all of the staff are gone besides the manager, any way to reverse this or add a new owner, saving the club?

Cup Fixture Editing - Doesn't Actually Change Fixtures in the game

I'm trying to change the fixtures of the draw of the quarter-finals of the KNVB Cup (Netherlands). The changes made in FMRTE won't actually show up in the game itself. I frequently have this problem, it seems to happen at random now. In some cases, the changes are partially made, meaning that it breaks the entire cup for that season as some ties will simply not get scheduled. FMRTE didn't gave me an error log of some sorts.

Huge Retirement LIST and several blank names

So, I usually remove all retirements while playing, but this is the second time this has happened, it happened in FM 23 and now it is happening again in FM 24, after a while of removing retirements, a HUGE list of retirements comes up, I attempted to change the retirement date for players to the year 2030 using the preset option, however, I couldn't use the same preset for staff members, it has no effect. Now, a list with several blank names has appeared and FMRTE is freezing.
