What is your FM version: 19.1

What is your FMRTE version: 19

Which operating system are you using: macOS Mojave

I open FMRTE and it asks for administrative privileges which I grant, after that the programme closes.

It won't let me activate the programme now.

 

It keeps saying a new version of FMRTE is available and that I need to update.

My bad, forgot to allow that version to be activated, should be working now

It allows me to successfully activate, but it's on a continual loop and repeatedly asks.

Can you please tell me, if FMRTE can load your game data properly?

Correct, once activated, you're not able to save, only activate again.

 

The game loads correctly, but no changes can be saved due to this.

Can you please open Terminal, and then follow this:

• type: ls -la ~/.config/
• Take a screenshot
• type: ls -la ~/.config/iFMRTE19
• Take a screenshot

Hmm, for some reason the iFMRTE19 folder has the wrong user, as a result iFMRTE cannot store your license data in there, and than keeps asking you to reactivate.

 

As a workaround (until I figure out why that happened), you can try to do this:

sudo chown Liam ~/.config/iFMRTE19

This will make your user the owner of that folder, and that should do the trick.
