I've always been interested in Football Manager but the full game was simply too time consuming, repetitive and bloated for my taste. Even when Football Manager Classic was introduced, I was turned away by the lack of an editor. I was disappointed with SI when FMRTE was made inaccessible with Classic so that SI can milk gamers' cash with 'unlockables' AKA 'partial editors.' I would have gladly paid for a full Classic editor even if it had to come at a cost of all unlockables combined as SI probably won't make it for a lesser price, but it never happened; I can only guess the flaming SI will get from the gaming communities for tagging a Touch editor for $30. But in a way they are already doing it even worse by charging $30 for a bunch of partial editors, so I had this grudge against SI for lame micro-transactions; "pay $2 every time you want your singe board request accepted!" I didn't even want a money boost or extra easy-to-play features. I wanted to create my avatar and my friends in the game and be able to edit them as the game progressed.

I wasn't going to buy FM2016 either for that reason, but today I found out that it actually works with Touch mode! I don't know the reason for the decision but I'm very glad. I immediately purchased Touch standalone to find that FMTRE doesn't work on a standalone, so I bought full FM2016 again and I'm very excited.

Thank you FMRTE teams for bringing a new player to Football Manager's world. I've waited years for this moment, and it is probably the longest time I've waited for a game. I will appreciate it very much and continue to support FMRTE if you keep supporting Touch in future versions. Now I'm off to buy FMRTE license.
