Increasing a players PA

Hi Guys

 

I am new to FMRTE. I bought and downloaded today. I am using this with the latest FM patch.

 

All I want to do is increase a couple of players PA. If I only change this, no other stats. Once saved and checked in game, the players stats change. Why is this? All I am looking to do is give a few players the chance of reaching a higher level.

 

Any advice?
