downloaded iFMRTE v15.1.3.6 for OSX (Yosemite), and everytime i open it says " ERROR getting settings folder path: access to the path "Users/.config/iFMRTE is denied. 

 

Also pops up every time i try to activate my license. 

 

Probably an issue with my system rather than iFMRTE, but i'm unable to use it. Any ideas????

Did this work for anyone? I am still getting the error, even when I follow the 'sudo' instructions on the link provided. I've also tried to enable the root user and try that way and it still doesn't work. I do not want to pay for something that isn't going to work at all..

Please try to uninstall iFMRTE and re install it again as root and then run it as root

Also just tried your suggestion and still isn't working. I didn't have any problems with iFMRTE14 last year so this is strange

Added it there but still didn't help. I've managed to open it now - trick was when running the sudo command the actual '.app' name extension doesn't work - you need to use the following:

sudo /Applications/iFMRTE\ 15.app/Contents/MacOS/iFRMTE

Then when the pop up comes up, click No

 

Shame we have to load it this way everytime - is there going to be a fix for this so we can just use the icon as opposed to doing this all the time? My iFMRTE14 is working fine on this machine
