Freeze taking a while to set for Virtual/Grayed players after signed

Odd occurrence when I sign a virtual/gray player.  It takes me about 3 efforts to freeze them.  I do an initial edit, including hitting freeze, save edit, save game and continue playing.  When I return to look at the player, they are un-frozen.  Do it again, and again.  After about 3 edit-save-play rotations, it stays frozen.  I have checked after games, before games, before and after FM saves, but can't seem to find what triggers it to hold the freeze.  It isn't a critical issue, but it is annoying and frustrating that I can't figure out any consistent pattern as to when the freeze holds.

    Here is my error log.  It seems like the freeze sets after they play a game, but that could be a coincidence.

    Hi @mbrown4464,

     

    From the logs, FMRTE says that it was unable to find some players, I believe that when a grayed player is signed you need to freeze the player again, since the player Id (that's what FMRTE uses) might change

    Thanks for the research.  I will play it by ear and see what the cycle is for it to settle.
