FMRTE Facepack installer issue.

Hello, after trying multiples things mysel, i don't find a way to have the Facepack installer working for my newgens. I did it numerous time with FMRTE for FM24 before, so i feel like "i know what i am doing"

I am on the lastest FM26 build : 26.0.3

2h ago got the last version of FMRTE updated.

My setup for the facepack installer seems right : https://gyazo.com/622373d7b90c3774a7fc8cea07f0e181 Both folders are on my C drive in the sport interactive file.

I tried to :

  • Double check my files locations

  • Reloaded the game multiple time after installing the newfaces

  • Got into Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\graphics\FMNEWGANv2 To delete the config file and try again

  • Of course quitting the game and restarting it

Face still look like usual (bad)

I found his ID in the config file and its attribued to a face in the folder :
<record from="MENA/MENA1662" to="graphics/pictures/person/r-2002074456/portrait"/>

Like 2k other players, but none of them appears in game. So i would guess the game doesn't load the .cfg. I have no ideas why tho. This is where my knowledge stop :/

    I tried one last thing, and it fixed the issue for me. Not sure if you guys will be able to do anything about it.

    What i did is taking this line : <record from="MENA/MENA1662" to="graphics/pictures/person/r-2002074456/portrait"/>

    and replacing the "MENA/MENA1662" to "MENA1662" then i copied the picture of it at the root of the Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\graphics\FMNEWGANv2 folder, skipping the "MESA" folder. Newgan faces are plenty and they are sorted via "African, Asian, Caucasian" folder. I guess we can say ethnic group. That worked, but only for this specific face.

    So what i did after was putting all the pictures at the root of the folder (12k pic, was long) then deleted every (now empty) folders and tried again.


    That worked.

    Now i am not sure, how the game pic the good ethnic group for players, or if it doest it at all or not.


    I guess you can close the bug report, thanks.

    Thats the issue now, if u dont want to copy the picture outside the folder, u have to copy the config xml file to each folder. If u only have one config file outside the folders, it doesnt work.

    Also for me works even in the MESA folder oly deleting the folder line in the config file should work

    Hey, same here. It works but if ou have to delete a part of the line for all the regen, it could be very long.

    Will it be fixed or the better solution is to put all the image in one folder ? it's not a major bug
