FM24 - Custom Start Date View File This Custom Start File enables you to commence the game after the standard default setup dates, making it perfect for users who wish to start midway through a season. You need to be an FMRTE license holder in order to download this file. Note that Marituas is used as the country for this setup, so if you intend to make that country playable, this file cannot be used. Please note that this file is incompatible with any other Custom Start file and should not be shared on other platforms/websites. I regularly update this file every week, allowing you to commence the game at a point you want to start a save game from. NB You can only use a Monday when using a custom a custom start date, this is a bug that has been reported to SI on several occasions going back a few years that they have not fixed. Please submit the following 3 points- [1]What is your exact FM version:(example answer- FM 18.1.2 (1051982) I have steam set to offline) clearly state if using TOUCH/MAC/XBOX and its version eg 18.2.0 (1050300,)You can find the exact version by selecting Game status while game is running [2]What is your exact FMRTE version:(example answer- FMRTE18.1.4[build 4]) [3]Are you running FMRTE as administrator- state YES/No [This is suggested/ important as most issues are caused by not running the App correctly-RIGHT CLICK ON App Run as administrator] [A1] FMRTE not loading your game If your issue is regarding FMRTE not working with your version of the game also add [4]Are you Beta testing for S.I.- (Yes/No) also sate the exact game version(1051982, 1051985) [A2]It is also worth checking that the product is fully activated especially after a Windows/System update as occasionally it results in the license key having to be entered again, this can be found in your client area. Sometimes the software due to an update the Application will require another re-activation, this will still only count as one activation. On the same principal I do this- use the export function to save a copy of a player/s before you edit them this way you can import the original attributes if you ever want to. NB some changes in FMRTE only take effect once you have moved the game forward. [C]Posting rules etiquette You need to post in English please, we appreciate that might not be your main language so use google translate etc to assist, and you must provide information on the version of FMRTE you are using. Also as per the forum rules can you use the search function to see if this issue has been discussed before, and take a quick look on the bugs forum to see if it has been reported.If there is a bug report you can add to that within the rules please. [C1]It may be better to start your own thread rather than add to the main FMRTE 23 thread, (which is pinned at the top of the forum), as questions can snowball and take over that thread, and it can be easier later for other users to find when searching looking for answers with similar issues. So it's better to keep it in your own thread. Use screenshots to assist with your question/issue. I use Gyazo- Gyazo link t is free easy and quick to use, and if you have a few points don't post as one big paragraph break it up so it's easy to read. If you need to add a file to your thread eg a saved game etc and it is too big to load directly here then use a file sharing/hosting site(use google to search there are lots of free options now)I personally use https://www.mediafire.com/ . You ALWAYS need to post the version of game/FMRTE you are using, (also if you are using XBOX state that in your OP) this is to make sure your post is in the correct forum and will assist in the help needed as there are different features in the various FMRTE versions. This project is where legends are added to the game as new/future Regens, initially I had it working in FM21 But due to SI changes it was not working in FM22, they blocked some files, but I have ran tests and it seems to be working in FM 23 👍 it will depend on the various nations when the intake of regens happens in game it could be a year after start date [This is not placed in your editor data folder it is not a FMF or XML file] The file is an edt file so it is placed here- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\2300\edt\permanent YOU ALSO NEED TO ADD THIS TO THE 2330 AND 2340 UPDATES TOO-[and any future new games eg FM24] C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\2330\edt\permanent C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\2340\edt\permanent C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2400\edt\permanent C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2430\edt\permanent NB You need to start a new save for this to work you can edit[use notepad++] the file to suite your needs perhaps add yourself/anyone as a future regen so add/remove as you wish I will show how its done in the next few posts This is not to be posted on any other sites without my permission There is the option to add - minus values for PA instead of fixed values eg you could try -9 instead of a fixed 180 etc etc I have added the top 3 players in the file with -minus PA and they do work in game I am once again sharing this file with the community here further testing is needed by you on things like this minus PA you can try this yourself and report back note this file I worked on FOR FM21[didnt work in FM22] so the year of births should be made later if you want these legends to start as youth players later in game I would say 2006/ 2007 [and keep increasing the year to stagger the intake so if you dont want them all in the game at the same time] as a starting year in 2023 making them 16 NB if and when there are any updates to the game the file will have to be added to DB update folders eg Football Manager FM23 2300 2310 2330 2340 Football Manager FM24 2400 2430 How to download- Direct link for FMRTE license holders/ users- FutureRegen.edt Just Like and subscribe to this post/s to get the content do not PM or tag me asking for the file just like the post.

Polite notice This is not my job, I am not here 24 hours a day and as the opening post states be patient. Also we dont all live in the same timezone and to reiterate this is not my job and it is me who is providing content for you. Some users have posted several times, tagged me@ and PM me also[The opening post clearly states DO NOT PM to get the Download link] they either haven't read the post stating please read, or they think this does not apply to them, this stops now, its rude and entitled. If you do this from now on I will just not add you to the download link, and warnings/bans will be issued if it continues. You just have to read the opening post if you are a new user/ the recent recommended posts - like/thank posts like/thank the latest build to get added/re-added to the download link, as every week a new link will be added. make sure you place the file in your editor data folder start a new save now select the data base 23.0 and in the drop down menu select the edited file/s you want to load after selecting the edited files you want to load press confirm then advanced set up Now select add/remove leagues you must select the top right option to get the custom date to work- its under Africa and called FMRTE Custom Start Date press confirm now on the active leagues page select culturedleftfoot league to view-only Now select the game start date bottom right hand of page select the FMRTE Custom Start Date option and select the date you want, and press start game
