Change Squad size International Competitions

 

This is very straightforward😉

 

Once you have opened the competition/s in advanced rules you need to select Players tab

 

Then in the Max squad size enter the squad size between 16 and 99- think comps like the World Cup are using squads of 26 but you can check with the official sites if you want it to reflect real life.

 

You can also select a preliminary squad and determine the days before a squad is named/meet up and if the players' club get any compensation whilst they are away with the International squad.

 

You can also sate how many medals are allocated etc etc

Change Nation/s in 2022 World Cup

 

Again this is very easy to do 

 

Once you have opened the World Cup in advanced rules you need to select in the drop down vine TEAMS -Registered teams-edit the nations here

Real fixtures and results error FM24.3 FIX

There are errors appearing when trying to test files in advanced rules in the FM24.3 DB

some have multiple errors that change as you try to fix them

 

One is this error 

The FIX is to do this-

 

when you look at competition eg English Championship

it will show 2 sets of rules

one is the rules for the comp the other is the fixtures/result file

 

 

 

you need to click on the[league fixtures]

and select as below

 

go to edit at the top of the page-and select copy

 

 

Now go to the rules for the Championship[not the league fixtures]

and find Fixture Times and Rules click on it

scroll down to league fuxtures

 now back to the edit tab and select Paste

 

so you now have the fixtures and rules for the comp saved in the rules for competition directly

 

it will look like this[using Bundesliga]

 

save the file

 

now go to the list and on the right hand side find the[ league fixtures]

tick it and remove it

save the change

 

NB You have to do this for every competition you have fixtures/results in 

do them one at a time and remember to remove the [ league fixtures] from the list as you go.

 

The file will now test and verify in advanced rules

 

Now you may still not get the results to show correctly this is due to SI setting up multiple sets of rules for some leagues in the FM24.3 DB

eg Turkey

so those league fixtures may need to be entered into some/all of them it is a matter of trial and error, it would help if SI gave some guidance but there isn't.

So be prepared for it to take a few goes before you get it right
