how do you make a player want to sign?

there is a bunch of players that are to good for my club , that i have tried to sign, but no matter what i do i cant seem to edit anything to make them sign? any tips?

Try the following but backup your save first.

 

#1) Lower their rep

#2) Decrease their CA/PA

#3) Decrease their Ambition and Loyalty

#4) Add your club to their Like Team relations

#5) Add yourself in their Like Person relations

 

There is bound to be more, it is just a case of trial and error.

Before you do any of these, declare your interest in the player within FM. This will create at least one extra field in the relations section of the player when viewed in FMRTE. Usually, if you do it right and your interest is welcomed by the player, it will create a likes you field with a relatively low value.

It is then easy to use option #5) above to simply change the value of likes you up to 100. Don't be tempted to make it higher or you may corrupt the database by putting in an impossible number.

Do #4) above and make sure you set likes your team to 100 also.

What you can also do is change how he feels about his current team. It's usually set to like, but could be any value. Reset this field to dislikes his own team and also set value to 100.

Don't need to bother with suggestions #1), #2) and #3), but if the above is not enough to persuade him, you can make him dislike his existing manager and maybe team-mates and you can add some of your own players as people he likes. Don't do half measures with any of these. Always set appropriate likes and dislikes to 100.

Oh and you can also change his contract status. Set transfer status to listed if you want to buy at lowest value, or set to by request, if he stubbornly refuses to leave. Price won't be as low this way but easier to prize him away. Also set status to not needed. Some of these values will revert to previous, so you need to get on with the transfer, or you'll have to set them again.

Oh, I forgot that your target players may be other teams targets too. If this happens, keep checking the player's relationships in FMRTE and if you see new fields appearing with other team names, change these to dislikes the team concerned and also set this to 100. Eventually, you want to make him hate any team that shows interest, so that you and your team are the only ones he likes and wants to go to.

Increase your club's reputation to 9000 or higher is the simplest thing I've found.

Aye the most important thing is to increase your club rep, that's the only thing I do and it works wonders.

okaay these things worked for a while with one club, but now i have another club that i try to get som young just-made talents without agents, and i have tried everything of these things but they just say they dont want to negotiate..

in the relations section for the player.................................put that he likes you and your club, if he has any spare reations add he dislikes current club/and or any other club bidding for him
